Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented QA Tester with 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, performance, and reliability of web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in manual testing, test case creation, functional testing, regression testing, API testing, defect tracking, and automation testing. The candidate should be comfortable working closely with developers, business analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze business and technical requirements to understand testing objectives and application functionality.
Prepare test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on project requirements. Execute functional, integration, system, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing. Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
Perform detailed defect reporting with clear reproduction steps, expected results, actual results, and supporting evidence.
Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman.
Perform database testing and validate data using SQL queries.
Conduct cross-browser, cross-platform, and responsive testing for web applications. Verify defect fixes and perform regression testing before production releases.
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts where required.
Participate in requirement reviews and provide QA feedback from a testing and usability perspective.
Collaborate with developers to investigate and resolve software defects. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Prepare test execution reports and communicate testing progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders. Support release testing and production validation. Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, automation coverage, and overall product quality.
Mentor and guide junior QA team members when required. Required Skills 4+ years of professional experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance. Strong knowledge of Manual Testing. Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC. Experience in writing test cases, test scenarios, and test plans. Experience into the Agentic ai or any AI Tools Hands-on experience with:
o Functional Testing
o Regression Testing o Integration Testing o System Testing o Smoke & Sanity Testing o Exploratory Testing o UAT
Experience with API Testing using Postman or similar tools.

Good knowledge of SQL and database testing. Experience with defect-tracking tools such as Jira. Knowledge of Git/GitHub/GitLab or similar version-control systems. Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience with automation testing is highly preferred.

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
