With over 150 employees and operations across the UK, we work with customers and supply partners around the world, exporting to more than 40 countries. Our business is built around engineering excellence, high standards and long-term customer and supplier relationships.

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Quality Engineer to join our team in Banbury.
As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring our products meet quality, compliance, safety and customer requirements throughout their lifecycle.
The role covers product testing and validation, supplier quality management, customer technical support and continuous improvement. You will work closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality issues, improve supplier performance and ensure we consistently deliver safe, compliant and reliable products.
This is a varied and hands-on role, with the Quality Engineer acting as a central point of contact for quality-related matters across the business.

- Lead and support root cause analysis, non-conformance, RCCA, CAPA and continuous improvement activities to reduce recurring quality issues.
- Raise product specification issues and claims with suppliers, holding suppliers accountable where appropriate.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams on New Product Introduction (NPI), quality improvement projects and the implementation of effective quality processes.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure agreed quality requirements and standards are consistently met.
- Provide technical support to customers, including attending customer site visits where required.
- Support relevant functions in improving supplier performance and addressing supplier quality issues.
- Support new product launches, ensuring suppliers are capable of delivering products to the required quality standards.
- Ensure the product approval process remains aligned with business requirements relating to product range, quality and cost.
- Improve the quality of purchased parts through effective liaison with Product Management and Purchasing.
- Ensure regulatory, legal, safety and environmental requirements are met across all products and markets.
- Provide product assurance through the GRN (Goods Received Note) inspection process.
- Maintain the product sampling programme and ensure appropriate gauge calibration is completed and recorded.
- Take responsibility for non-saleable stock locations, including internal quarantine and scrap reviews.
- Manage internal quality KPIs and metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the ongoing development and improvement of quality systems, processes and procedures.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality standards across the business.
About You
We are looking for someone who is technically minded, organised and confident in dealing with both internal and external stakeholders. You will have a practical approach to problem solving and be comfortable taking ownership of quality issues from identification through to resolution.
