Quality Engineer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering - electrical background is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, or Supplier Quality - customer-facing experience is a plus.
• Fluent English (min. B2) is a must - an English assessment is part of the interview process.
• Hands-on experience with customer complaint management and problem-solving methods (8D, 5 Why, RCA).
• Solid knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with key account customers.
• Analytical thinker with data-driven decision-making skills.
• Continuous improvement mindset and risk-based thinking.
• Collaborative team player with cross-functional experience.
• Results-oriented, able to prioritize and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; valid Class B driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary quality contact for key account customers in the EU and USA.
• Manage customer complaints end-to-end: containment, 8D/RCA, and corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Investigate product and process deviations, perform root cause analysis, and implement CAPA.
• Drive product and process change management, ensuring quality requirements are met.
• Support the initiation and execution of projects to continuously improve product and process quality.
• Track quality KPIs and prepare regular reports and presentations for customers and management.
• Represent the company in customer audits and ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements.
• Actively participate in all quality processes and foster collaboration within the team.
• Lead and support initiatives to strengthen and spread a quality culture across the organization.
