The role combines hands-on quality and compliance management with coordination of external certification and H&S partners, and is key to building a mature, certified QEHS Management System across the organization.
Responsibilities
Quality Management & ISO Certification
- ISO Certification Management: Leads certification activities for ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 (performed with external partner support) — conducts interviews across departments to define IMS-relevant processes, assesses currently established processes, manages the external partner (schedule, deliverables, milestones, quality review), and organizes internal training on processes & policies.
- Compliance Audits: Performs and coordinates site audits to verify compliance with ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001; manages non-conformance reporting, root-cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes.
- KPI Management: Defines, monitors, and reports on relevant quality, environmental, and safety KPIs.
Health & Safety Management
- H&S Documentation: Creates and maintains H&S-related documentation (emergency procedures, work instructions, risk assessments, delegation of duties, machine operating instructions, legal handbook), including translation into required languages where necessary.
- External Partner & Consultant Coordination: Coordinates external technical H&S consultants and the company doctor; oversees project-related H&S documentation (e.g., SiGeKo Plan, BSO) prepared through external partners; schedules and reviews site audits and archives audit reports; manages related purchase order requests and payment approvals.
- Incident & Accident Management: Leads incident/accident investigations and root-cause analysis, defines and follows up on corrective actions, and maintains related statistics; supports the digitalization of the incident logbook and audit reporting.
- Regulatory Liaison: Liaises with local regulatory bodies and coordinates statutory H&S roles (e.g., SiFA, SiBe, SiGeKo) and ASA meetings to ensure full compliance with national H&S legislation.
- External Audits & Inspections: Defines and manages external audit and inspection processes (equipment/electrical checks, fire safety, first aid record keeping, medical check-ups) — selects and manages external partners, monitors schedules and deliverables, and handles related purchase orders and payments.
- Training: Delivers and organizes training for construction and office employees on H&S requirements and QEHS documentation and processes.
