Role & responsibilities
Monitor quality of components during injection moulding production.
Conduct first-piece, patrol/in-process and last-piece inspections.
Verify components against approved drawings, specifications, samples and inspection standards.
Monitor critical and major dimensions using appropriate measuring instruments.
Check visual defects such as:
Short moulding
Flash
Ensure inspection frequency is followed as per Control Plan.
Immediately identify and segregate non-conforming material.
