Quality Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Quality Engineer to ensure that all construction activities and materials comply with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and applicable IS/MoRTH requirements. The candidate will be responsible for quality inspections, material testing, documentation, and implementation of quality control procedures at infrastructure project sites.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections of ongoing construction activities at infrastructure and highway project sites.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, project requirements, and applicable quality standards.
• Inspect construction materials such as soil, aggregates, sand, cement, steel, bitumen, and concrete.
• Coordinate with the site team and laboratory technicians for field testing and laboratory testing of materials.
• Monitor road construction activities, including earthwork, subgrade, GSB, WMM, bituminous layers, and concrete works, wherever applicable.
• Verify material test reports, field density tests, sieve analysis, gradation, moisture content, and other relevant test results.
• Ensure that construction work is carried out as per approved Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), and Method Statements.
• Identify quality issues and non-conformities, and coordinate with the project team to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain quality records, inspection reports, material test reports, checklists, and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and third-party inspection agencies for quality inspections and approvals.
• Ensure that materials and completed works meet the required acceptance criteria before approval.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor the quality of workmanship.
• Assist in preparing quality reports and maintaining documentation for client inspections and project audits.
• Ensure proper calibration and maintenance records of testing equipment.
• Follow applicable safety procedures and company quality policies at the project site.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
