Quality Engineer

Responsible for ensuring the quality of products and services delivered to customers through the management of customer requirements, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement customer quality plans, control procedures, and quality agreements
• Host customer audits and manage customer-specific PPAPs, APQP, and final inspection requirements
• Lead issue resolution, customer corrective actions (8D), and internal performance improvement
• Analyze customer quality data, identify trends, and drive cost of poor quality (COPQ) reduction opportunities
• Collaborate with Sales and internal teams on customer satisfaction and product development
• Prepare clear presentations and reports for management and customer reviews

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in Customer Quality, preferably in Aerospace, Defense, or Automotive
• Strong knowledge of AS9100, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, MSA, and 8D
• Green Belt certified (Black Belt preferred); Customer Auditor/Hosting experience a plus
• Advanced MS Excel and Office skills
• Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, project management, and interpersonal skills
