Quality Engineer - Fullstack Automation Tester

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Engineer – Full-Stack Automation Tester with strong hands-on experience in Java and Selenium to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for frontend and backend applications. The candidate will work closely with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure software quality and reliable releases.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Design and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Conduct UI automation testing for web-based applications using Selenium.
• Perform API testing for RESTful and web services.
• Validate backend data using SQL and database testing.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve application defects.
• Participate in test planning, test case development, execution, and reporting.

About you

• 3–5+ years of experience in QA / Software Testing / Quality Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java.
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience developing automated test scripts using Java + Selenium.
• Knowledge of automation frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
• Experience with Page Object Model (POM) and test automation framework design.
• Experience in API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Experience with Git/version control.
• Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
