QUALITY ENGINEER – FUNCTIONAL TESTING

Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Engineer specializing in Functional Testing to join our IT Services division. This pivotal role is designed to ensure the robustness and reliability of our software solutions within the Property & Casualty Insurance sector. The successful candidate will play a critical part in validating system integrations, overseeing user acceptance processes, and managing defects to deliver high-quality policy administration products. This position demands a professional with 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience, offering a competitive compensation package of ₹12 lpa.

Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive System Integration Testing (SIT) to verify seamless interactions between various software modules.
• Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases to ensure solutions meet business requirements and stakeholder expectations.
• Implement rigorous defect management protocols to track, document, and resolve issues throughout the development lifecycle.
• Conduct specialized functional testing for Guidewire ClaimCenter and related policy administration systems.
• Validate business logic and workflows specific to the P&C Insurance domain to ensure regulatory and operational compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks and propose effective testing strategies for complex insurance applications.

Requirements

• Possess 4 to 7 years of professional experience in software quality assurance, specifically within the IT Services industry.
• Demonstrate proven expertise in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) methodologies.
• Exhibit strong proficiency in defect management tools and lifecycle processes.
• Have in-depth knowledge of Guidewire ClaimCenter and Policy Administration systems.
• Possess a solid understanding of the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain and its unique operational challenges.
• Show a track record of successful functional testing execution for enterprise-level insurance applications.
