Quality Engineer Highway

Role & responsibilities

• Strong knowledge of construction quality control and quality assurance (QA/QC).
• Good understanding of infrastructure and road construction activities.
• Knowledge of IS, IRC, MORTH and relevant project specifications/standards.
• Ability to inspect and monitor earthwork, subgrade, GSB, WMM, DBM, BC, concrete, drainage, and other civil works.
• Experience in material inspection, sampling, testing, and quality documentation.
• Familiarity with ITP, Method Statements, Checklists, NCRs, MIRs, and inspection procedures.
• Ability to review drawings, specifications, test reports, and quality records.
• Knowledge of field and laboratory testing and interpretation of test results.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Good coordination skills with site teams, contractors, consultants, laboratories, and clients.
• Understanding of ISO 9001 / Quality Management Systems is an advantage.
• Strong reporting, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and project requirements.
