Quality Engineer III

We’re looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join a fast-paced manufacturing operation. This position will play an important role in maintaining product quality, supporting new product introductions, resolving quality concerns, and driving improvements throughout the manufacturing process.

The right person will be comfortable working directly with production teams, suppliers, inspectors, and leadership. This is a hands-on quality role for someone who can identify problems, dig into the data, communicate issues clearly, and help implement practical solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support quality activities associated with new product launches and product introductions
• Develop, implement, and maintain inspection and control plans
• Perform and coordinate product/component inspections, testing, and quality analysis
• Review blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and models to verify product conformance
• Use SPC and manufacturing data to evaluate process performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• Investigate nonconforming materials and products and assist with appropriate corrective actions
• Partner with purchasing and suppliers to resolve vendor quality issues
• Document quality findings, investigations, corrective actions, and other QA activities
• Support and maintain calibration requirements for gauges, fixtures, tools, and measurement equipment
• Develop solutions for recurring quality and manufacturing problems
• Communicate quality concerns effectively with engineering, production, supervisors, inspectors, hourly employees, and leadership
• Help drive continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing operation
• Manage quality-related projects and priorities in a fast-moving environment

What We’re Looking For

• Associate/2-year technical degree in Electronics Technology or a related discipline with 5+ years of manufacturing/quality experience , OR
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field with 3+ years of manufacturing quality experience preferred
• Working knowledge of mechanical and manufacturing principles
• Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings
• Experience working with SPC and quality control processes
• Strong root-cause analysis and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to make sound decisions based on technical information and data
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to confidently address quality/nonconformance issues at multiple levels of a manufacturing organization
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Self-directed, proactive, and comfortable working with a sense of urgency
• Continuous-improvement mindset and willingness to challenge existing processes when improvements can be made
