Quality Engineer Leader

Main Responsibilities

Product 40%

• Establish & maintain quality control plan covering IQC, IPQC, OQC
• Ensure that standard criteria are set and production team trained up to the standard
• Lead to deal with key non-conformities (internal & external)
• Responsible to manage CCAR, NCR and QRQC the effectiveness of the correctives actions
• Responsible to maintain and report KPI in order to ensure company objectives are met
• Revision of FMEA / QCP/ STD Work
• Continue Improvement: Support for lesson learn, Develop QRQC in workshop, Kaizen / 6 Sigma / IDEATION, I-Way, Wastage

Process 30%

• Quality audit plan with action follow up reporting ( ISO Internal & OTOP quality)
• Drive quality initiatives throughout the department as well as with subcontractors

Compliance 20%

• QMS maintain within the department
• Support when required security certification / customer visit
• Maintain H&S practices in line with company standard
• BU/Customer relationship

Management 10%

• Providing leadership and facilitates problem resolution, resource utilization, coaching and mentoring of team members

Requirements

• At least 5 years strong experience of manufacturing quality control/assurance
• Has relevant experiences as quality engineer or manufacture engineer in smart card industry is preferred
• Bachelor degree or above, Engineering background
• Fluent in English oral/writing/call (daily practice with email/phone and to transfer information/knowledge into local language at factories)
• Be familiar in production system, quality assurance engineering & supplier management
• Expert for 8D; QRQC;
• Demonstrate knowledge FMEA; DOE; data analysis
• Experience performing internal audits
• 6 sigma GB is preferred
• Familiar VDA6.3/ ISO 9001/ IATF 16949, have good command of FMEA, 8D, PPF, SP, FTA. Proficient in the use of five tools related to the job content
