Quality Engineer – Rubber/Plastic Manufacturing

Super Plastics is looking for a Quality Engineer for our rubber and plastic component manufacturing facility in Chandigarh.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming, in-process and final quality inspection
• Monitor shop-floor quality and process parameters
• Prepare and maintain PPAP, PFMEA and Control Plans
• Handle customer complaints, 8D, CAPA and Root Cause Analysis
• Monitor rejection and take corrective/preventive actions
• Work with SPC, MSA and 7 QC Tools
• Maintain ISO 9001:2015 quality records and documentation
• Conduct/support internal, process and customer audits
• Ensure proper use of measuring and inspection instruments
• Coordinate with Production for continuous quality improvement

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of manufacturing quality experience
• Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical, Production or relevant field
• Practical knowledge of PPAP and PFMEA is mandatory
• Knowledge of APQP, Control Plan, 8D, CAPA, SPC and MSA
• Experience in rubber, plastics, automotive components, moulding, extrusion or similar manufacturing preferred
• Hands-on shop-floor quality experience required

Salary: ₹25,000–₹35,000 per month
Location: Industrial Area Phase II, Chandigarh
