Quality Engineer @ Tuas

QC/QA

1. Responsible in executing directives as set forth for the Quality Assurance Department in meeting management objectives in term of quality control/assurance of all production fabrication works/projects.
2. Implement and maintain a system of auditing the facility and periodic calibration of test, measuring equipment and tools include all documentation, procedure qualification records accordance to customer specification and code
3. Manage and supervise a team of inspectors / technicians in meeting departmental quality goals and production schedule.
4. Manage customer complaints, corrective and preventive action programs and Administer and manage continuous improvement program for all QA processes.
5. Work closely with customers, production and suppliers to meet the quality requirements.
6. Review / prepare, administer and implement Quality Assurance Plans, Inspection Test Plans and other Operational procedures in accordance to the technical specifications, customer's surveillance requirements, and good manufacturing / engineering practices, and enforce the same on Operations in their execution.
7. Work closely among inter-department to ensure committed schedules are met in a timely and effectively manner.
8. Manage the implementation / schedule of calibration control.
9. Strong ability in doing Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions Reports.
10. Any other tasks and responsibilities assigned from time to time.

Quality

1. To maintain good QC house-keeping -5S and ensure all QC practices are in accordance to A & One Precision best practices and other practices which the Company may introduce from time to time.
2. To maintain good workplace health and safety rules and regulations compliances at all time in production/workplace.

Administration

1. Ensure safe custody of QC management administration documentation recording and updating.
2. To co-ordinate and human relation working attitude with QC fellow team and others department pro-actively and team-work at all time for QC inspection targets and timely update/delivery.

Education

• Min ITE/ Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Chemical Engineering

​​​​​​​Mandatory Experience

• 3 to 5 years of quality management experience in precision engineering, contract manufacturing of complex semiconductor equipment, or wafer fab environment.
• Proficiency and knowledge in CMM Programming, measurement and calibration equipment
• Knowledge of quality systems
• Knowledge and Experience in Surface Treatment
• Experience in writing non-conformance and corrective actions reports (e.g. 8D, F23, NCR) for customers
• Experience in the processes and report writing for New Product Introduction (NPI), Prototype and First Article (FA)
• Enjoys solving complex challenges with exceptional internal and cross departmental team communication and management experience
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese to write, communicate and translate amongst non-English speaking team members.
