Quality Engineer WTG Civil

Job highlights

• Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality engineering for civil construction projects.
• Preferred: experience in QA / QC roles for wind farm projects (WTG foundations,roads,etc.).
• Willingness to travel and work on-site as required

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project-specific Quality Management Plans (QMP) for civil works.
• Establish quality control procedures, checklists, and inspection protocols.
• Conduct on-site inspections to ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and standards.
• Witness and verify key inspections and tests, including material checks, rebar, formwork, and concrete sampling.
• Review and approve test reports, material compliance certificates, and quality records.
• Maintain complete documentation of inspections, tests, and non-conformance reports.
• Monitor corrective actions to ensure long-term resolution of quality issues.
• Submit periodic quality performance reports to project leadership.
• Collaborate with contractors and promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Provide training to site personnel on quality procedures and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality engineering for civil construction projects.
• Preferred: experience in QA/QC roles for wind farm projects (WTG foundations, roads, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering, construction materials, and ISO 9001 standards.
• Understanding of concrete technology, soil mechanics, and structural steel.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in quality management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• ASQ CQE or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.
