QUALITY ENGINEERING

About the role

This is a Quality Engineering role in the Mold Maker industry, responsible for conducting product quality inspections according to established standards and specifications, performing outgoing inspections and First Article Inspections (FAI), and ensuring products meet quality standards before shipment to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections of Mold Maker products according to established standards and specifications
• Perform Outgoing Inspection and FAI
• Ensure products meet quality standards before shipment to customers
• Perform measurements and checks on dimensions, visual inspection, function, and product quality parameters
• Identify and analyse defects/abnormalities in processes and products
• Create inspection reports and quality-related documentation
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, QA, and related departments to address quality issues
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions
• Support customer complaint handling and quality improvement processes
• Ensure Quality Control standards and procedures are properly implemented

About you

• Minimum SMK / D3 / S1 education in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related fields
• 1-3 years of experience as Quality Engineering, particularly in the Mold Maker industry
• Able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
• Understanding of basic QAQCQE concepts and problem solving
• Understanding of measurement tools and machines such as CMM, caliper, micrometer, height gauge, and other measuring instruments
• Ability to read technical drawings and understand product specifications
• Understanding of measurement tool and machine calibration
• Understanding of problem analysis methods such as Root Cause Analysis, QC 7 tools, and 8D
• Quality certification is an advantage (must be current)
• Meticulous, disciplined, responsible, with good analytical skills and quality-oriented
