Quality Engineering/CMM

Romac Metal Works is growing. We are seeking a professional individual to take care of our ISO certified Quality program and run the CMM within a safety first, air conditioned environment.

The successful individual will have the following attributes:

• Strong work ethic and eager to learn
• Punctual and dependable
• Ability to work closely with all parts of the organization
• Ability interact directly with the customer and to own the interactions with respect to quality
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and ability to manage our QMS
• Ability to undertake role of internal ISO auditor
• Additional knowledge of nuclear standards is an asset
• Ability to implement supplier quality programs
• Ability to conduct in process manufacturing inspections and determine disposition as required
• Deep comprehension of GD&T
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and 5S programs
• Experience with PCDMIS/Brown and Sharpe CMM is an asset
• Ability manage NCR/CAR processes and to conduct root cause analysis
• Organised, capable of handling multiple tasks without losing track of details
• Experience operating a lift truck and overhead crane is an asset
• Experience with fabrication and CNC machining in a precision manufacturing environment is an asset
