Quality Executive/Manager - Transformer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all three stages of quality inspection—Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), and Final Quality Control (FQC)—to ensure compliance with company and customer quality standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001:2015.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout all manufacturing processes.
• Monitor transformer routine, type, and special testing activities and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
• Handle customer quality audits, third-party inspections, and statutory audits.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Ensure compliance with BIS, IS, IEC, and customer-specific quality requirements.
• Maintain quality records, calibration schedules, inspection reports, and quality documentation.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve process capability.
• Coordinate with Production, Design, Purchase, Stores, and Dispatch departments to resolve quality-related issues.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate Quality Engineers, Quality Executives, and Inspectors.
• Prepare quality MIS reports, KPI dashboards, and present quality performance to senior management.
• Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring zero-defect delivery and timely resolution of quality concerns.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in Quality Inspection/Quality Control.
• Knowledge of quality tools, inspection techniques, and testing procedures.
• Experience in the Electrical or Transformer manufacturing industry.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 documentation.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software.

Preferred Qualification

• Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of transformer manufacturing and testing processes will be an added advantage.
