Role & responsibilities

• In-process inspection Check parts during production (dimension, surface finish, tolerance).
• First-off approval Verify first piece before starting mass production.
• Patrol inspection Regular checking of running machines and parts.
• Use of measuring instruments Vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, bore gauge, etc.
• Rejection control Identify and separate defective parts (OK / NOT OK segregation).
• Root cause analysis Find reason for defects and inform production team.
• Documentation – Maintain inspection reports, check sheets, and quality records.
• Calibration check – Ensure measuring instruments are calibrated and valid.
• Process monitoring – Ensure CNC parameters and process standards are followed.
• Customer quality standards – Follow drawings, specifications, and customer requirements strictly.

Preferred candidate profile

• Educational Qualification – Diploma / BE (Mechanical) or ITI (Machinist / Turner).
• Experience – 1 to 3 years in CNC line quality / in-process inspection.
• Drawing Knowledge – Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Measurement Skills – Good knowledge in Vernier caliper, Micrometer, Height gauge, Bore gauge.
• Tolerance Knowledge – Understanding of limits, fits, and GD&T basics.
• Inspection Knowledge – Experience in first-off, in-process, and final inspection
