Quality Inspector

Job Summary

Responsible to perform the inspections, checks, test, and sampling procedures of the incoming materials, parts and components used in the manufacture of the medical devices, partially assembled or finished medical devices.

Key responsibilities

• Follow a statistical sampling plan to assess product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
• Physical testing of all components, to include dimensional testing, weight and appearance as required.
• Promptly and accurately document findings on appropriate batch documents.
• Investigate and report discrepancies. Sample incoming raw material chemicals and components.
• Responsible for all on-line quality inspections.
• Perform review of Device History Records and other documentation for compliance to established procedures and Good Documentation Practices.
• Perform other tasks as required.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM qualification with relevant manufacturing experience, or a Diploma in a Science-related field.
• Knowledge of GMP and quality inspection processes would be an added advantage.
• Willingness and ability to work on shifts.
• Relevant experience in inspection activities or production processes.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate a strong commitment to quality.
