Quality Inspector

About the role

This is a quality inspection role in a manufacturing environment. You will perform product inspections and quality checks, identify defects, and maintain accurate records while working in a shift-based schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Perform product inspections and quality checks in accordance with established procedures and quality standards
• Assist in identifying product defects and support basic failure analysis and reporting
• Use basic inspection and testing tools, including torque screwdrivers and multimeters
• Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation
• Maintain good housekeeping and 5S standards within the work area
• Follow workplace safety procedures and quality requirements
• Work closely with the production and engineering teams to address quality issues
• Perform other duties related to quality inspection as assigned

About you

• Minimum Nitec, Higher Nitec, vocational or equivalent technical qualification
• 1–2 years of relevant manufacturing, production or quality inspection experience
• Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Able to use basic tools such as torque screwdrivers and multimeters
• Good attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Able to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Good command of English for workplace communication and documentation
• Willing to work shifts
• Able to perform duties involving prolonged standing and occasional ladder work/heights, where required
