Quality Inspector

Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to work in our Salinas Victoria facility.

Reporting to: Head of Quality

Location: Monterrey, Nuevo León

Industry: Manufacturing / Packaging

Responsibilities:

1. Perform incoming, in-process, start-up, and final quality inspections according to approved specifications and the Quality Plan.

2. Verify product dimensions, weight, appearance, labeling, and other visual attributes using approved inspection methods.

3. Operate measuring and testing equipment, including calipers and scales, and confirm that equipment is within calibration status before use.

4. Identify, segregate, label, and promptly report non-conforming products; support hold, deviation, and disposition activities.

5. Complete inspection sheets, production records, certificates of analysis, and other quality documentation accurately and on time.

6. Communicate quality concerns to Production, Maintenance, and Quality personnel and support timely resolution of process or product issues.

7. Support product trials, qualifications, line clearance, lot changes, and product release activities as assigned.

8. Follow applicable Quality, Food Safety, GMP, hygiene, safety, and FSSC 22000 requirements at all times.

Skills & Competency Requirements:

1. Previous experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment; packaging or plastic-bottle experience is preferred.

2. Working knowledge of measuring equipment such as calipers, scales, and other basic laboratory instruments.

3. Ability to read product specifications, identify visual defects, and maintain accurate inspection records.

4. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and effective communication skills.

5. Availability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime when required.

6. Must currently reside in Monterrey, Nuevo León, or the surrounding area.

7. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12,500.00 - $15,000.00 per month
