What they need
- Inspect products at different stages of production according to inspection plans and quality standards.
- * Perform visual and dimensional inspections using measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- * Identify and segregate defective or non-conforming products.
- * Record inspection results accurately in quality check sheets or software systems.
- * Report quality issues immediately to the production supervisor or quality engineer.
- * Verify that corrective actions have been implemented and are effective.
- * Ensure operators follow work instructions, quality procedures, and specifications.
- * Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
- * Monitor production processes to detect trends that could lead to quality problems.
- * Assist in root cause analysis of defects and support continuous improvement activities.
- * Ensure measuring equipment is calibrated and used correctly.
- * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the inspection area.
- * Support customer audits and internal quality audits when required.
- * Follow all workplace safety and company policies.
- Required Skills
- * Knowledge of quality inspection techniques.
- * Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
- * Familiarity with measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
- * Good attention to detail and observation skills.
- * Basic computer and documentation skills.
- * Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
