Position Summary

The Quality Inspector supports manufacturing operations by inspecting incoming, in-process, and final products to ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.

Quality Inspector Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials by verifying specifications and performing visual and dimensional inspections.
• Inspect in-process production, identify nonconformances, and communicate required adjustments to production supervision.
• Inspect finished products, approve conforming parts, and verify rework completion.

Quality Inspector Requirements

• 1–2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience using inspection and measuring equipment (calipers, gauges, meters, computers, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Basic math, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to pass visual acuity and color detection testing
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and perform repetitive inspection tasks
• Willing and able to pass a background check and drug screen

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with aerospace or defense manufacturing inspection
• Must have knowledge of GD&T
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action (RCCA)
• Familiarity with quality systems and continuous improvement tools (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma)

Pay: $52,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
