Quality Inspector

Position : Quality Inspector Location : Sumter, SC Duration : 12 Months Total Hours/week : 40.00 2nd Shift Job Category : Light Industrial Pay Rate: $18.00/hr Job Summary Quality Inspector role on night shift, performing product testing, inspection, and release documentation review to ensure compliance with applicable specifications and Quality System Regulations.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Perform various testing procedures and simple statistical analysis
• Conduct complete inspection of product prior to release per applicable specifications
• Sign release documentation for raw material or finished goods prior to warehouse/shipment transfer
• Compile and review release documentation for lot device history records before submitting to supervision for final approval
• Stat sample all hold products per specification requirements
• Record inspection and audit findings on appropriate forms and/or in the Quality Module of SAP
• Report product nonconformance issues to the Quality Leader/Superintendent, Quality Operations/Lead Person, and Production Supervisor
• Control chart defect trends in product quality
• Maintain adherence to safety, environmental, and quality system standards

Experience

• Recent college or technical college graduates welcome to apply

Eligibility & Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required
• Steel toe or composite safety shoes required
• Eye exam required
• Drug screening not required
• Schedule: 8pm-8am, rotating 3 days on/2 off/2 on/3 off, weekends included
