JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a detail-oriented, responsible and proactive Quality Inspector & Purchase Assistant to ensure the quality of incoming hygiene and cleaning products while supporting daily procurement operations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong inspection, documentation and supplier coordination skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Quality Inspection & Control

• Inspect cleaning chemicals, detergents, hand soaps, disinfectants and other purchased products.
• Verify product quality, quantity, packaging, labelling and expiry dates.
• Check received materials against purchase orders, specifications and approved samples.
• Review Safety Data Sheets (SDS), technical documents and quality certificates, where applicable.
• Identify and report damaged, defective, expired or non-compliant products.
• Maintain accurate inspection and quality records.

Purchasing & Supplier Coordination

• Assist the Head of Purchase with purchase orders, quotations and price comparisons.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding deliveries, replacements and quality complaints.
• Follow up on pending orders and procurement requirements.
• Maintain supplier records and purchasing documentation.
• Coordinate with warehouse and accounts teams for smooth purchasing operations.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant experience in quality inspection, purchasing, warehouse operations or a similar field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, detergents and hygiene products.
• Qualification in Quality Control, Chemistry or Purchasing is an advantage.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
• Strong attention to detail, communication and organizational skills.
• Responsible, reliable and willing to learn.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
