Quality Inspector - II

Job Title : Quality Inspector

Duration : Full Time
Shift: 1st
Pay: $20/hr to $24/hr on w2

We are seeking a Quality Inspector to perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of components, assemblies, and finished products in an aerospace/electronics manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, mechanical, and dimensional inspections.
• Inspect soldered assemblies to IPC-A-610 standards.
• Inspect harnesses, electronic, and electromechanical assemblies.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, specifications, and GD&T.
• Prepare inspection records and acceptance/rejection documentation.
• Create and review First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) per AS9102.
• Perform customer source inspections and issue required certifications/tags.
• Maintain inspection and calibration records.
• Identify and report quality issues and process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of relevant inspection experience, preferably in aerospace or electronics.
• Knowledge of AS9102, IPC-A-610, GD&T, and technical drawings.
• Experience using measuring/inspection equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to read/write English.

Physical Requirements
Ability to sit/stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and perform light lifting, bending, reaching, and pushing/pulling carts.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
