Quality Inspector – On-Site Customer Support

Overview

C&J Tech Alabama is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team on-site at our customer's facility in Clinton, Tennessee. As our on-site quality representative, you will play a key role in making sure every part meets quality standards before it moves forward in the production process. This is a great opportunity for experienced inspectors and motivated entry-level candidates looking to build a career in manufacturing quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of parts to identify scratches, cracks, contamination, missing components, incorrect assembly, and other defects
• Verify part numbers, labels, and quantities against work instructions
• Separate and clearly identify conforming and nonconforming parts
• Conduct sorting and re-inspection activities as needed
• Accurately record inspection quantities, defect types, and inspection results
• Promptly report quality concerns to the supervisor or quality team
• Follow inspection instructions, site safety rules, and housekeeping requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous inspection or manufacturing experience preferred; entry-level candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow written work instructions
• Basic reading, writing, and counting skills
• Ability to communicate inspection results clearly
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods while performing repetitive inspection tasks
• Ability to handle parts and move containers as required, with reasonable accommodation where applicable
