Quality Inspector-VC

We are hiring a Quality Inspector for our Foundry QA/QC team. You will inspect materials and castings at every stage: incoming material, in-process hold points, post sand blasting and painting, pre-dispatch to the machine shop, and final inspection including export packing. You will perform hardness testing and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), prepare inspection reports, raise NCRs/QDARs on deviations, and support RFIs, third-party inspections, and design reverse-engineering inspections. The role works closely with the In-Charge QA/QC Foundry to make sure all jobs meet customer specifications, quality acceptance criteria, and allowed tolerances.

Complete Job Description (Responsibilities)

• Liaise with the In-Charge QA/QC Foundry to understand quality acceptance criteria and allowed deviation ranges for the manufacturing process.
• Identify Material & Quality (M&Q) non-compliance issues during production.
• Ensure M&Q is available at the time of inspection.
• Inspect incoming materials at the foundry.
• Inspect jobs after sand blasting and painting (for cement jobs).
• Check quality at manufacturing hold points in the foundry.
• Inspect castings before dispatch to the machine shop.
• Perform hardness testing of jobs during manufacturing.
• Perform NDT and prepare reports as per customer and job requirements.
• Immediately inform the In-Charge QA/QC Foundry of major tolerance variations, non-conformities, or specification deviations.
• Raise observations and QDARs on deviations and defects during manufacturing.
• Assist the In-Charge Foundry during RFI (Request for Inspection).
• Assist the Design Department with in-house and external reverse-engineering inspection.
• Assist the In-Charge Foundry during third-party inspection.
• Verify QE drawings against customer drawings (cement jobs).
• Check assemblies of parts at the foundry.
• Carry out inspections at vendor sites (Ahmed Corporation).
• Assist the In-Charge QA/QC Foundry in final-stage inspection of all jobs.
• Perform final packing inspection (cement export jobs).

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
