Quality Inspector/Assembler

Overview

We are seeking a meticulous Quality Inspector/Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of quality control processes. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where precision and accuracy are paramount.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints
• Assemble parts according to specifications and company standards
• Paint parts prior to shipping
• Test assembled parts to ensure proper fit, alignment, and functionality
• Meet all safety requirements
• Keep workspace clean
• Pack finished product for shipping
• Accept or reject finished products and discuss inspection results with the team
• Performing inspections at random to assess product quality
• Recommending any necessary adjustments and changes to the production process
• Maintain records of inspection/quality forms
• Complete all paperwork and hand into office daily
• Adhere to company policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Must have a teamwork mentality
• Proficiency in using tools like calipers for precise measurements
• Must have analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must have basic knowledge of hand tools
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of quality control standards and testing
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be self-motivated and eager to learn
• Experience working in a production shop is preferred
• Knowledge of Metric System is preferred
• Must be able to read blueprints
• Ability to operate a forklift is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
