Quality Management Officer

About the Role

We are looking for a Quality Management Officer who will help ensure that our metal fabrication processes and finished products consistently meet company standards, approved drawings, project specifications, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and support the implementation of the company's Quality Management System (QMS).

• Conduct and coordinate in-process and final quality inspections of fabricated products.

• Check finished and ongoing works against approved drawings, specifications, dimensions, and quality requirements.

• Identify defects, non-conformities, and process issues and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.

• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality checklists, NCRs, corrective action reports, and other quality documents.

• Monitor recurring quality issues and assist in conducting root cause analysis / Why-Why Analysis.

• Coordinate with Production, Operations, Warehouse, Purchasing, and other departments regarding quality concerns.

• Assist in establishing and improving quality standards, procedures, checklists, and inspection methods.

• Assist in conducting quality audits and process inspections.

• Recommend improvements to reduce defects, rework, material wastage, and customer complaints.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Design, Industrial Technology, or any related course.

• Experience in QA/QC, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or Metal Fabrication is an advantage.

• Ability to read and understand technical/fabrication drawings and specifications.

• Knowledge of basic inspection and measuring tools such as vernier caliper, micrometer, tape measure, and other measuring instruments.

• Familiarity with quality control procedures, NCR, corrective action, root cause analysis, and process improvement.

• Strong documentation and reporting skills.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Willing to work in both office and production/fabrication areas.
