  • Continuous Improvement:  Championing and leading programs like  5S  to drive operational excellence and workplace organization.

Daily and Operational Duties

  • Perform and document in-process quality checks and testing for all converting orders.
  • Perform documented incoming inspection and testing on raw materials.
  • Contact vendors and issue material-related non-conformance scans.
  • Actively track, prepare, and post monthly Quality charts (customer complaints, internal/vendor issues).
  • Ensure all staff understand, follow, and enforce established safety, quality, GMP, and company policies.
  • Participate in monthly safety team activities.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience:  Proven Quality Management/Supervisory experience in a  printing and/or packaging manufacturing environment  with demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Technical Knowledge:  Working knowledge of  ISO 9001  and experience with  FSC / SFI  standards is highly preferred.
  • Strategic & Detail-Oriented:  A strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to superior quality.
  • Software Proficiency:  Essential computer usage skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and typing skills.
  • Leadership & Communication:
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively:  conveying facts and information clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Collaborative mindset:  proactively contributes to group objectives and works well with others.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage pressure, meet deadlines, and carry out assignments to completion.
  • Work Ethic:  Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.
