Role & responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Process Improvement

• Analyze the root causes of in-house rejection and customer rejection and ensure implementation of effective corrective actions.
• Drive initiatives to reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) through systematic analysis and process improvement.
• Ensure product quality and process stability through regular monitoring and improvement initiatives.

2. Customer Complaint Management

• Review and prepare CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) reports for customer complaints received from the marketing team.
• Verify the effectiveness of implemented corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

3. Audit Management

• Plan and conduct internal audits of all mines and operational units as per the approved monthly audit plan.
• Ensure audit reports are shared with concerned departments within three days of audit completion.
• Prepare and present monthly internal audit summary reports to department heads and management.

4. Compliance & Certification

• Coordinate and manage external audits for ISO 9001 certification and ensure compliance for QM-1 and QM-2 units.
• Drive implementation and compliance with ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management System).
• Support the organization in achieving and maintaining EcoVadis Certification.
• Plan for IATF 16949 certification

5. Training & Capability Development

• Identify training needs and prepare the Training Need Identification (TNI) for the TQM department.
• Ensure quality-related trainings are conducted as per the training plan to build capability across the organization.
