Quality Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and improvement of the Engineering Quality Management System (QMS).

• Develop and maintain quality procedures, workflows, SOPs, checklists, and best practices for engineering deliverables.

• Conduct quality training, coaching, orientations, and lessons-learned sessions.

• Support project planning and start-up by defining quality requirements and review strategies.

• Perform quality audits, compliance reviews, and analyses of rework, schedule, and quality performance trends.

• Facilitate corrective and preventive actions resulting from audits, customer feedback, and quality findings.

• Monitor and improve quality metrics related to deliverable performance, customer satisfaction, and corrective action effectiveness.

• Participate in technical and project reviews to ensure adherence to engineering quality standards.

• Collaborate with project teams, discipline managers, quality leaders, and stakeholders to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.

• Maintain lessons learned and quality performance databases, ensuring knowledge sharing across projects.

• Support capability development, mentoring, and quality-focused performance improvement initiatives across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.

• At least 12 years of relevant experience in engineering, EPC projects, quality management, or related industries.

• Minimum 2 years in a leadership role involving oversight and review of engineering deliverables.

• Knowledge of power, energy, chemical, industrial, EPC, and plant modification projects.

• Familiarity with engineering deliverable development, interdisciplinary coordination, technical reviews, project quality requirements, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Strong understanding of engineering project execution, quality management systems, auditing, root cause analysis, corrective actions, quality metrics, stakeholder management, coaching, and team development.

• Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.

• Additional certifications in Quality Management, Auditing, Project Management, or Continuous Improvement are preferred.
