What they need
- Develop and implement hospital quality assurance and improvement programs
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards (NABH/NABL) and regulatory requirements
- Monitor key quality indicators and analyze performance data
- Conduct internal audits and facilitate external audits/accreditation processes
- Identify gaps in processes and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Train staff on quality standards, policies, and protocols
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, SOPs, and reports
- Handle patient feedback, complaints, and grievance redressal mechanisms
- Promote patient safety initiatives and risk management practices
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents and adverse events
- Coordinate with all departments to ensure quality compliance
- Monitor infection control practices in coordination with relevant teams
- Lead continuous quality improvement (CQI) projects
- Ensure proper documentation and record maintenance as per standards
- Stay updated with latest healthcare quality guidelines and best practices Role & responsibilities
