As our business continues to grow, Framespace Solutions require a dedicated Quality Manager to lead our quality function and build on the standards we have in place. The successful candidate will bring a constructive approach to how we work, embed quality into every project we undertake, and make sure it remains at the forefront of everything we do, from raw material through to installation on site.
This is a hands-on role, supported by a Quality Technician. The successful candidate will be on the production floor daily, will support our audit and certification work, and will act as the link between our manufacturing facility and our site teams.

- Champion quality across the business, so that standards are understood and owned at every level
- Embed quality into every project, from design handover through manufacture to installation on site
- Act as the key link between the manufacturing facility and site teams, making sure site feedback, snags and defects are communicated back to production and acted on
- Develop, implement and maintain an ISO 9001-aligned Quality Management System, including procedures, work instructions and forms
- Establish and manage inspection and test plans at each stage of production, from incoming materials through to pre-dispatch
- Manage non-conformances through root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action, and close-out
- Support certification, client and internal audits, including preparation, hosting and follow-up actions
- Support our certification work, including I.S. EN 1090 Factory Production Control, CE marking and NSAI Agrément
- Compile quality and handover documentation for each project, including inspection records, material certificates and traceability to support BCAR compliance
- Manage supplier quality, including incoming material inspection and mill certificates
- Work with Design & Engineering to ensure drawings, tolerances and specifications are clear and buildable
- Develop quality training and competency sign-off for production staff
- Manage the calibration of measuring and test equipment
- Report quality KPIs monthly to senior management, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across production
Essential requirements
- A Level 7 or above qualification in quality, engineering, construction or a related discipline
- A minimum of 5 years' quality experience in construction, steel fabrication or manufacturing, with at least 2 years at manager level
- Hands-on experience of in-process inspection, inspection and test plans and non-conformance management on a production floor
- Experience implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 quality management systems
- Experience supporting or participating in external and internal audits
- Experience using root cause analysis tools such as 8D, 5 Whys and fishbone
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong communication skills, with the confidence to engage and influence at all levels
- A full clean driving licence

- Experience of product or factory certification, including working with certification bodies such as the NSAI
- Knowledge of I.S. EN 1090, Factory Production Control and CE marking
- Understanding of BCAR and Irish building certification requirements
- Experience in LGS, steel framing, modular or offsite construction
- ISO 9001 internal or lead auditor qualification
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or above
- A current Safe Pass
- Experience working with multi-lingual and agency workforces
