Quality Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Quality Control professional to ensure that products and processes meet the required quality standards. The candidate will be responsible for inspection, testing, identifying quality issues, maintaining quality records, and coordinating with production and other departments to resolve defects.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products as per quality standards.
• Perform quality checks and inspections at various stages of production.
• Identify, document, and report quality defects or deviations.
• Ensure products comply with company specifications and applicable quality standards.
• Coordinate with the Production team to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Maintain inspection reports, test records, rejection reports, and other quality documents.
• Monitor and follow quality control procedures and work instructions.
• Support root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for recurring quality issues.
• Ensure proper handling and segregation of rejected/non-conforming materials.
• Conduct routine quality checks and maintain inspection records.
• Support internal and external quality audits when required.
• Follow company safety, quality, and compliance requirements.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of Quality Control procedures and inspection techniques.
• Knowledge of basic quality tools and documentation.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively with Production and other departments.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.

Education

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Chemical, or a relevant engineering discipline.
• Relevant QC experience will be an advantage.

Experience

• candidates with (8-12) relevant experience can apply, depending on the position requirements.
