Vickerstock are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Manager on behalf of a leading food manufacturing business based in Athleague, Co. Roscommon .

This is a systems-focused role, responsible for maintaining and improving food safety, quality and compliance systems , ensuring the site remains compliant with customer, regulatory and accreditation standards.

The Role

• Manage and maintain the site Food Safety Management System
• Ensure compliance with BRCGS, customer, regulatory and food safety standards
• Manage customer product specifications and specification systems
• Support the development of new product specifications
• Lead customer complaint investigations, RCA and CAPA
• Manage internal and external non-conformances
• Prepare for and support customer, regulatory and accreditation audits
• Liaise with DAFM and other external stakeholders
• Manage and support the site traceability programme
• Monitor customer KPIs and drive corrective actions
• Drive continuous improvement across quality and food safety systems
• Support and develop Technical and QC processes

About You

• Previous experience in a similar Quality/Technical role within food manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, BRCGS, GMP, TACCP and VACCP
• Strong experience in quality systems and food safety compliance
• Experience managing audits and dealing with external stakeholders
• Strong understanding of EU food safety regulations

Working Hours

• Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
• Day shift
• Flexible start/finish times around 8:00am–8:30am
