Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Working hours: 07:30-17:00 Mon – Thurs & 07:30 – 11:30 on a Friday

Salary: £35k - £40k, dependent on experience

Bolt King is a leading supplier and manufacturer of high-quality fasteners and precision-engineered components. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Quality Manager to join our team, with responsibility for the organisation, management and control of Quality systems and processes to drive improvements in compliance with customer standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality expert for Bolt King’s Quality Management System
• Ensure non-conformances are fully investigated, reported and corrective / preventive actions are applied
• Promoting, developing, and implementing continuous improvement throughout the organisation’s Quality function
• Management of the Quality team

Process management of:

• Internal audit process
• Measurement systems including calibration
• Document control
• KPI reporting to all levels of the business.
• External audit lead including site audits and Customer audits.

Skills and Experience:

• ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 management systems (ISO14001 advantageous)
• PPAP / QC1 documentation experience (preferred)
• IATF 16949 Internal Auditor certified (IATF 16949 Lead Auditor certified advantageous)
• A working knowledge of quality systems compliance to Customer Specific Requirements.
• Knowledge of problem-solving techniques and experience in leading problem-solving teams.
• Proven track record of driving continuous quality improvement in a manufacturing environment.
• Supplier & Customer Quality assurance experience
• Measurement considerations
• Experience with line management and motivating a team
• Organisational skills - ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise issues of competing value, and effectively use available resources to meet time restrictions.
• Strategic and analytical thinking
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
