Quality Manager

Our client is a major global player in the food manufacturing industry, operating across multiple international markets.

The Quality Manager will lead and develop the onsite Quality team, driving the highest standards of product quality, food safety and customer satisfaction across a 24/7 manufacturing operation with 200+ employees.

Working closely with the Operations Director, Site Leadership Team and Global Quality Manager, this role will champion a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring quality standards are embedded throughout the business and consistently delivered through strong cross-functional collaboration.

We are looking for a strong and influential leader with high personal standards, excellent root cause analysis capabilities and the confidence to challenge constructively when required.

The successful candidate will be able to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, driving accountability and a culture of quality excellence throughout the site.

Experience in food manufacturing and food safety would be advantageous, but proven leadership capability and the ability to inspire continuous improvement are the key priorities for this role.

Qualifications:

• Degree in a science discipline and HACCP qualified.
• 5+ years' quality leadership experience in food, drink or process manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, quality systems, HACCP, GFSI, SPC and root cause analysis.
• Experience leading quality teams and managing audits, incidents, risk and non-conformance investigations.
• Proven project management skills, delivering cross-functional projects on time and budget.
• Continuous improvement mindset with lean manufacturing and customer-focused business experience.
