About the role: The Quality Manager will ensure construction projects meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards by implementing Quality Management Systems (QMS). This role will involve inspections for civil, structural, and finishing works, verify material compliance, and maintain documentation like inspection reports and test certificates. Key duties include managing subcontractor quality, conducting audits, and overseeing the "snagging" (defect identification) process.

Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in Quality

Industry: Real Estate / Building Construction

Qualification: B.E / Diploma (Civil)

Job Location: Mumbai (Andheri East)

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Assurance & Control: Implement QMS procedures at site, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, IS codes, and project specifications.
• Site Inspections & Testing: Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections for construction materials (steel, cement, concrete) and workmanship (steel reinforcement, concreting, waterproofing, tiling).
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain Daily Quality Reports (DQR), Material Test Certificates (MTC), cube test reports, and inspection records.
• Vendor/Contractor Management: Audit sub-suppliers, prepare vendor ratings, and ensure prompt rectification of defects (snagging/de-snagging).
• Safety & Compliance: Monitor 5S practices, ensure safety standards are followed, and initiate corrective actions for non-conformity.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: B.E./B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 12 years in QA/QC within real estate or construction.
• Technical Skills: Ability to interpret structural drawings, technical specifications, and knowledge of surveying/measurement equipment.
• Software: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD.
• Attributes: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Work Location: Mumbai (Andheri East)
