Quality Material Specialist

The Quality Material Specialist inspects, approves, and releases incoming critical supplies and the associated documentation before the physical release of the supplies to Plasma Supply Chain Areas. The Quality Material Specialist identifies and documents any deviation of materials and ensures that these deviations are investigated and corrected. Environment Internal: Operations and Quality Area Managers, Logistics and Planning, and Logistics Warehouse Keeper. External: External service provider. Key responsibility To ensure the execution of Quality inspection, approval and release of incoming materials and associated documentation is done according to the established procedures. To register the Quality process as per established procedures in the electronic material management system. To maintain contact with Logistics Department regarding the receipt of materials in the warehouse. To coordinate the release of incoming supplies with Area Owners. To document deviations observed during the process of Quality inspection process according to GEPD company policy, and to inform stakeholders, as required. To ensure that all tasks are performed in a timely manner.

Desired Candidate Profile

Academic experience required Bachelor's degree in health-related Sciences. Knowledge of cGMP requirements preferred. Professional experience required At least 2 years of experience in a similar position, in environments of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in pharmaceutical background. Computing skills MS Office knowledge. SAP experience, preferable. Personal skills Organized and able to manage time effectively. Ability to work within a highly regulated, labor-intensive environment. Ability to understand, explain, follow, and enforce SOPs. Ability to plan, communicate and execute activities for the improvement of overall operations. Strong integrity and commitment to Quality and Compliance. Ability to work in groups and with other departments. Excellent oral and written communication skills to produce clear and concise factual findings. Ability to identify problems and propose solutions. Languages Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic.
