Quality Mechanical Inspector

We're looking for an experienced Quality Mechanical Inspector to join a growing manufacturing team. In this role, you'll ensure machined components meet customer and engineering specifications through detailed inspections, CMM programming, and precision measurements.

Location: Tyngsborough, MA

Pay: $30-$40/hour, depending on experience

Schedule Options:

• 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 4:00 PM-2:30 AM

What You'll Do

• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections
• Program and operate CMM equipment
• Inspect machined parts using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measuring tools
• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T requirements
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records
• Identify and communicate quality concerns
• Partner with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve issues
• Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Previous inspection experience in a machining or manufacturing environment
• Experience programming and operating CMM equipment
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Understanding of GD&T principles
• Experience using precision measuring tools
• Basic computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
