You will shape TAC’s approach to quality engineering, establishing the frameworks, standards and capabilities that enable consistent, high-quality delivery across the organisation. As TAC’s senior quality authority, you’ll provide assurance and expert guidance across major technology initiatives, including the Claims Platform transformation, while building a culture of shared quality ownership and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:

- Drive the adoption of modern quality engineering practices, including test automation, risk-based testing, continuous validation and DevOps-aligned approaches.
- Provide quality assurance across strategic technology initiatives, assessing delivery risks, solution readiness and operational preparedness to support informed decisions.
- Lead quality oversight for the Claims Platform transformation, providing constructive challenge to delivery teams and vendors to ensure quality outcomes are supported by evidence.
- Build organisational quality capability through coaching, communities of practice and continuous improvement, fostering shared accountability across delivery teams.
- Establish meaningful quality metrics and reporting, working with technology and cyber security teams to strengthen delivery confidence, operational resilience and risk management.
About the team.
This role sits within the Enterprise Transformation division, which leads TAC’s technology, digital and transformation agenda, delivering modern technology solutions and optimising business operations to enhance client outcomes, employee experience and community impact.
Reporting to the Manager, Integration & Automation, you will work collaboratively with technology leaders, delivery teams, architects, engineers and enabling partners to establish and mature TAC’s enterprise approach to quality.
What you’ll bring.

- Demonstrated success establishing quality strategies, frameworks, governance and assurance processes that improve technology delivery confidence and reduce operational risk.
- Strong understanding of modern quality engineering approaches, including automation, continuous testing, risk-based testing and DevOps practices.
- Experience providing quality leadership and independent assurance across large-scale technology transformation programs, including working with external vendors and delivery partners.
- The ability to influence senior stakeholders, build organisational capability and drive change through coaching, collaboration and constructive challenge.
- A pragmatic, analytical approach, with sound judgement and the ability to translate complex quality risks into clear, business-focused insights while balancing governance with delivery priorities.
