Quality Specialist (Fixed-Term Contract)

We are looking for a "Quality Specialist (Fixed-Term Contract)" in order to strengthen our company's Quality team at Çorlu/Tekirdağ.

What will be your key deliverables?

• Coordinate the establishment, maintenance and continual improvement of the Quality Management System, ensuring that quality documentation remains effective and up to date.
• Monitor the company’s quality targets and performance indicators, maintain the required records, and report relevant risks or recurring issues to the Quality Manager.
• Monitor quality incidents and process deviations; coordinate investigations, identify root causes and trends, and follow up corrective and preventive actions through to completion.
• Evaluate product quality issues and coordinate product hold, release or further assessment decisions in line with company procedures, including finished product approval and related records in the specification system.
• Coordinate the Quality team’s operational activities across shifts and ensure that incidents and open actions are communicated and followed up.

What do you need for this role?

• Graduated from the Food or Chemical Engineering departments of universities,
• At least 2 year of experience in Food Safety and Quality Management Systems,
• Experience in managing or coordinating a team,
• Proficiency in English,
• Good knowledge of production process, (Preferably gum and candy)
• Good command in MS Office Programs,
• Good analytical skills, and ability to work detail-oriented and, process-oriented,
• Have knowlegde of IFS, BRCGS, FSMA, ISO 9001, and ISO 22000.
• Have knowledge of SAP and QDMS programs.
