Summary

This Quality Supervisor will supervise a team of 8 Quality Technicians and ensure product quality, food safety, and compliance throughout the night shift.

Key Activities

• Supervise and provide leadership to 8 Quality Technicians on the night shift.
• Own and oversee quality operations for the 3rd shift.
• Ensure products meet established quality, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor production processes and identify quality issues or deviations.
• Work closely with Production Management to address quality concerns and improve processes.
• Partner with Food Safety Management to maintain food safety standards and compliance.
• Coordinate with Sanitation Management to ensure proper sanitation practices and corrective actions.
• Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure accurate completion of quality inspections, records, and documentation.
• Train, coach, and develop Quality Technicians.
• Escalate significant quality or food safety concerns to management.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, food safety, and production.

Preferred Skills

• Fresh meat, poultry, beef, pork, or other protein processing.
• USDA-regulated food manufacturing environments.
• HACCP, GMP, SSOP, or related food safety programs.

Educations & Experience

• Previous experience in food manufacturing, food processing, or foodservice.
• Fresh meat industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience supervising or leading a quality team.
