Role Overview

Responsible for supervising daily quality control activities to ensure products and processes meet established quality standards, customer requirements, and company procedures. Monitor inspection activities, lead quality problem-solving and corrective actions, supervise quality personnel, and work closely with Production and other departments to minimize defects and ensure continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide and lead a team of QA leader and inspectors to ensure the smooth operations of IQC, IPQC and OQC inspection and test system to achieve the department objectives, organization quality policy and objectives
• Supervise the operations of the inspection areas that are assigned to him / her.
• Frequent conduct product and process audit to ensure that all the inspection and test procedures / methods are strictly followed by all inspectors.
• Plan, schedule and conduct on job training and education programs for all new and existing QA leaders and inspectors to ensure their understanding of the inspection / test requirements, and their competence in defect detection and inspection judgment.
• Work closely with all the departments concerned, suppliers and subcontractors on the lot rejection and quality issues.
• Frequent review the quality performance at in-house, suppliers and subcontractors. Work with QA Engineer on the strategies / plans to upgrade in-house, suppliers and subcontractors’ quality performance.
• Act as a communication bridge between management and inspector’s workforce.
• Responsible for the welfare of subordinates and the effective handling of the grievance raised by the subordinates.
• Work with QA Engineer to plan, schedule and conduct process audits on in-house production, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure their continuing capability in supplying quality products.
• Implement and maintain a suitable working environment for his / her subordinates through the implementation of 5S and safety requirement.
• Always set himself / herself a good example for the subordinates to follow.
• Recommend solutions for the improvement on quality, productivity and work efficiency to increase customer satisfaction.
• Perform any job as and when requested by the superior

Qualification & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years working experience in Quality control or Quality Assurance
• Basis knowledge (ISO 9001 & ISO14001)
• Measurement, verification, auditing - Drawing & Product Specification
• Bill of Material
• Autocount & Microsoft Office
• Understanding supporting document
• Control plan - Quality standard Instruction
• Certificated Of Conformance/Compliance
