Quality Surveryor (Operations Supervisor)

Job Summary

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to manage project costs from concept through completion. You’ll handle estimating, budgeting, contract administration, and cost control to keep construction projects financially healthy and on track.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQs)
• Monitor project costs and cash flow throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage variations, change orders, and final accounts
• Evaluate contractor claims and certify payments
• Support procurement and tendering processes
• Track project progress and forecast costs
• Ensure compliance with contracts and company procedures
• Prepare regular financial reports for management and clients

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in construction or cost management (adjust as needed)
• Strong knowledge of contracts (e.g., Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors standards, FIDIC forms of contract)
• Proficiency in Excel and estimating software
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills
• Strong communication and reporting abilities

Nice to Have

• Experience with large commercial or infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with local construction regulations and procurement processes
