Quality System Engineer - Chinese Speaking

About the Role

BYD THAILAND is looking for a Quality System Engineer - Chinese Speaking to support quality management systems, internal and external audits, certification activities, and continuous improvement. This role will work closely with quality teams and relevant departments to ensure compliance with company standards and international quality requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage basic quality system activities, including factory KPI quality targets, on-site document consistency checks, quality discipline, basic discipline, safety discipline, personnel certification, and internal audit development.
• Plan and conduct internal audits according to IATF 16949 and BYD’s quality management system, including audit planning, auditor team formation, audit execution, and preparation and release of audit reports.
• Coordinate external certification audits for ISO 9001, IATF 16949, TISI, TAI, and CE.
• Follow up and verify corrective actions for audit nonconformities to ensure effective closed-loop improvement.
• Support improvement of weak areas through training, best-practice sharing, benchmarking, and other quality improvement activities.
• Monitor audit findings and follow up with relevant departments to ensure timely corrective actions.
• Maintain quality system documents, records, and audit-related information.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in the automotive industry is an advantage.
• Fluent in Chinese, with HSK 4 or above.
• Experience in Quality, Quality Management System (QMS), Quality Audit, or related areas.
• Basic knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and quality management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Proactive, responsible, and able to work effectively under pressure.
• Good command of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Availability to start immediately is an advantage.
