QUALITY SYSTEM MANAGER

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

A. ISO Quality Management Representative

1. Implements all relevant procedures described in the Quality Management System (QMS);

2. Trains others in all aspects of the quality system and application of procedures;

3. Ensures that the processes needed for the quality management system are established, implemented and  maintained;

4. Develops, implements and manages key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility. Sets department objectives/KPIs and reviews and assesses ongoing performance of direct reports. Ensures KPIs are met by working to the overall plan;

5. Conducts risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department

6. Identifies business improvement opportunities within the organization;

7. Reports to the President on the performance of the quality management system and the need for improvement;

8. Coordinates and works directly with the Top Management, Directors and Department Managers for all ISO-related tasks;

9. Ensures the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization;

10. Takes charge of the entire Quality Management System;

11. Plans, organizes, leads and controls the Internal and External ISO Audit for CSF;

12. Manages the audit program to ensure that all nonconformities raised against certification bodies during audits are effectively corrected and independently verified. Ensures that all in-house systems and procedures are updated, revised and modified to meet the needs of external certification bodies; and

13. Manages all external registration requirements to ensure they are met. Liaises with external bodies on all matters relating to registration.

B.  Non-conformance Reporting Responsibilities

1.       Handles Non-Compliance Reports (NCRs) for the entire Company;

2.       Establishes and implements NCR-related procedures for all departments, provides enhancement as necessary for the efficiency and effectiveness of the process;

3.       Coordinates with the Top Management, Directors and Department Managers for the continuous improvement of the NCR procedures;

 4.       Provides recommendation to the Top Management as needed to resolve issues and concerns per the NCR findings;

 5.       Performs other related tasks assigned by the Vice President for Operations.
